Yesterday we had cross country.The 11s and 12s went to Peria for there  race  and the 10s and 9s had to stay at school for 1h.  when the 1 hour was up the class would line up to go on the bus. but there was a lot of kids on the bus   we put the bags under the gazebo  so they don’t muddy.  The 10 started at 12:30pm. Then the kids that had  spare time then they got to play.Then at 12:30pm it was the ten yr olds  time to run.Then the starter  smacked  them together then the kids run down the hill some kids fell in the dich and got all muddy but I over take some kid then tamara over took me then I over took her and her friend. We i had my last lap i  came   at 8 place. 

Term 2 reflection 2024

This term I have been proud of the following achievements. 

In reading  i have been learning to read a lot of  chapters

In writing this term  i have been writing a at least 1 and half pages

In maths  i have been learning me time tables 

In PE this term I … i have been learning matariki games and others

During our inquiry of Matariki I enjoyed …i have been like matariki because yo can do  shared lunch and  waiata

In art … in art we have been learing about matariki and more

what did you find the most challeging getting up there and seeing all of the audience

On day one we  arrived at 10:30am.  Then we got in to our teams  there was boys dorms and girls dorms, then the boys and girls picked there bunk bed.  they  put there bags and blankets on there bed. then  we had morning tea, we got changed into togs  and then we got into rotations.  then we went on the kayaks and the long waterslide and we. played ga ga ball & went on the obstacle course we did  slippery hockey last.

On day two we woke up at 6:00 something  we go changedin to warm cloths then we weent inside  to have breakfeast and we whent in to a house group line we did the water slide again we did slippery hockey  and ga ga ball  on the slippery hockey every body was sliping  in my group it was tk, hunter,chase,  xavier, raing ,  madeleine  and lilly, and me  and some other it was so fun that me and hunter did the penguin slide it was some fun luke elia and copper thay whent to together  and thay went flying over the slid end  it was so funny

on day three  we pack our stuff the we got in to togs and we did jumping off the waft and and we did boat rideing and paddle bording and had lunch  then we got dry and we got back for camp and we help whea kaiya from whea kaiya we got juicy.

What is kawakawa

kawakawa is Native Aotearoa  

it look like  a stingray

The leaves are toilet up they make  loud Noise 

when i rub the leaves they  feel like  a  Smooth like a piece of wood

when kawakawa is used as deep heat it smell like extra gum

i think kawakawa tea will taste like water
